Elizabeth 's interest in Chinese medicine started at Pitzer College in Claremont , CA , where she completed two years of field research with a senior acupuncturist, and then wrote her senior honors thesis on the sociological growth of Chinese Medicine in the U.S. Her studies continued at the graduate level in Chicago at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she received a Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine.  Pacific College 's emphasis on the duality of Eastern and Western Medicine helped Elizabeth develop a framework for integrating treatment approaches for her patients and making informed, well-researched referrals.  She is nationally board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbology, licensed in the state of Illinois , and a member of the American Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association.

Having devoted herself to a lifelong study of Chinese medicine, Elizabeth currently treats patients with a broad spectrum of disharmonies. Her areas of specialty include women's health, infertility, autoimmune disorders, neurological disorders, digestive disorders, emotional disharmonies, sleep disorders, and respiratory disorders. Elizabeth 's primary treatment modalities include acupuncture, Chinese herbs (both granular and capsule forms), cupping, Chinese nutritional therapy, and other accessory techniques to promote healing and well being.
